Microsoft has unveiled its FFXI: FXXII: An Interactive Adventure in the Real World for the first time, featuring new character animations and full voice acting, the company said today.FFXII and FFXVI were the first titles in Microsoft’s massively successful FFX series to feature voice acting by the same actor for all three games, a move that Microsoft said will “improve immersion for players and make them feel more connected with the world.”
The FFXV animated title, the first in the FFX universe, is set to be released on March 17, 2019, with the FXX series set to arrive later in 2020.
The FFX V animated game will be released by Microsoft in the fall of 2019, and a FFX-V: The World Beneath the Sands game in 2021.
The FXXI animated title is slated to arrive in 2020, with a follow-up to FFX I to follow in 2021, and an FFX II animated title in 2021 for the Xbox One.
Microsoft also unveiled the FXIII: An Animation Adventure in World of Warcraft and FXXV: An Animatic Adventure in Dragon Age: Inquisition for the Nintendo Switch.
The new animated title for FFX III: An Adventure in a Strange World and FXV: A Adventure in FFX: The Animation Game will debut in 2021 on the Nintendo 3DS.
